Privacy Policy
Lifeline OS ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by Oliver Kremmer. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how it is handled.
1. Data we collect
The app collects only the data needed to provide its functionality:
- Contact info (email). Linked to your account. Used to provide app functionality and account management.
- User content (tasks, goals, notes, routines, contacts, documents you add). Linked to your account. Used to provide app functionality. Stored on your device and, if you opt in, in our cloud Brain.
- User identifier. Linked to your account. Used to provide app functionality.
- Diagnostics: crash data. Not linked to your identity. Used to improve app stability.
- Diagnostics: performance data. Not linked to your identity. Used for analytics.
2. What we do not collect
We do not collect precise location, contact lists, photos, browsing history, search history, or advertising identifiers. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.
3. On-device intelligence and Zero-Knowledge Mode
Lifeline OS runs on-device intelligence where possible. If you enable Zero-Knowledge Mode (available on Pro), the cloud Brain never receives your data — everything stays on your device.
4. Permissions
The app may request access to Calendar, Contacts, HealthKit, Reminders, Microphone, and Speech Recognition. All are optional. If declined, the relevant feature degrades gracefully; the rest of the app continues to work.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Payments are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Subscription status is verified via Apple's StoreKit framework.
6. Data retention
Your content remains on your device for as long as the app is installed. Cloud data (if you opt in) is retained while your account is active. You can export your data at any time from Settings → Export My Brain, and erase all local data from Settings → Erase all data.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. Account deletion erases all server-side data within 30 days.
8. Children
Lifeline OS is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change. Material changes will be surfaced in-app before they take effect.
